Responsibility
The term responsibility encompasses much more than you might think at first glance. In connection with our workplace, everyone immediately thinks of what they are responsible for at PIPPL. There are, for example, reliably running production facilities, high-quality compounds, functioning supply chains, and satisfied customers who buy our materials.
But there are also hundreds of families of our colleagues who have a secured income thanks to the visionary leadership being provided by our founders, who are the real change agents for the families of our employees, whom we address as partners in success, as we always support them Hand in Hand.
As a Polymer Compounder, we play a special role when it comes to sustainability. In the public perception, polymers are often only seen as a problem and not as a solution in sustainability discussions. As experts, we have a responsibility to objectify the discussion, promote sustainable Polymer solutions, and use all resources very consciously and carefully.
All this and much more is hidden behind. We take responsibility.
Competence
Competence is of fundamental importance at PIPPL, as it is indispensable when it comes to completing tasks efficiently, solving problems and achieving our goals. Our competent employees ensure that this value is practiced both internally and externally.
When we want to convince customers of our products, we give them a tour of our production facilities, our laboratory and our Competence Center. Nowhere is it clearer how well we have mastered our craft and why our compounds are of such high quality. International customers appreciate our globally standardized production setup, which enables us to produce sophisticated materials.

Respect
This applies both to our internal cooperation and to our dealings with our external partners. We treat our colleagues, our customers and our partners as equals.
We treat each other fairly and work together to achieve common goals. This also means that we listen to each other and accept other opinions and points of view. Respect is not a question of positions or hierarchical levels.

Progress
Socrates once said: “He who thinks he is something has ceased to be something” and a few years later Henry Ford said: “He who always does what he already can, always remains what he already is.” Two quotes that we should take to heart both as people and as a company.
In view of current challenges such as human-induced climate change, geopolitical changes and developments in electromobility, we also need to develop new solutions. Customers are increasingly asking us for sustainable materials. Raw materials that have been used for decades are suddenly no longer available or may no longer be used due to legal requirements. Materials that were specially developed for use in vehicles with combustion engines will no longer be needed in the foreseeable future and will have to be replaced in electric vehicles by materials with completely new properties.
In this environment, we as a flexible compounder can in many cases adapt to new conditions faster than the large chemical industry. We must seize this opportunity to position ourselves for the future.

We aimed to work out what defines us as a company today and how and where we want to develop further.
Employees from across the company discussed these questions and worked together to develop core values and guiding principles for PIPPL.
To ensure that these are better remembered and put into practice, we have incorporated them into a picture with the help of an illustrator: the PIPPL world of values. A huge, detailed picture that shows in many small stories and motifs what defines us at PIPPL.

The result of the workshops is a clearer picture of PIPPL and our goals, as well as the definition of our PIPPL core values and guiding principles, which serve as valuable signposts for us.
From almost one hundred keywords, we selected those that best describe PIPPL. After a tough but fair race of values, four core values prevailed:
These PIPPL core values were the starting point for further activities. We described how we understand these values and what significance they have for our future actions. It became clear that we represent the same values internally and externally. We make no distinction in our behavior towards colleagues or business partners.
From our other values workshops, we then jointly developed our 10+1 PIPPL guiding principles, which we want to live by in our working environment in the future:
